The Appeal
The P6 was a very different type of Rover, a thoroughly modern and more compact car designed to take the fight to Europe.
Superbly engineered and built to a high standard, the new Rover offered buyers luxury and a wide range of engines. Today many enthusiast gravitate to the V8, but afficionados of this model particularly rate the 2litre ‘D’ suffix engine with its 9.25:1 compression ratio.
This lovely Lunar Grey example is just such a car. In fine condition with a particularly sumptuous caramel leather interior, it comes to us with a thick history file and long, advisory-free MOT. Add a manual gearbox and the renowned Continental Touring Kit spare wheel and this looks a very tempting classic saloon.
