The Appeal
Representing the epitome of style and sophistication throughout its eighteen-year production run, the R107 Mercedes-Benz SL is perhaps the ultimate classic roadster for long-distance touring. These cars were beautifully engineered and solidly constructed, earning the SL a reputation that would go on to sell over 300,000 units and remain perennially popular amongst collectors to this day.
This early 350SL is in very good condition for its age, benefitting from a high-quality respray and a long period of dry storage. It’s accompanied by a substantial history file which contains a large collection of invoices and MOT certificates dating back a number of years. It was originally silver, although has undergone a colour change to white which perfectly complements the red leather upholstery. The car comes with both its roofs, offering great flexibility for its next owner and it also benefits from road tax, ULEX and MOT exemption.
While there are always SLs of this vintage on the market, few look to be as good as this, so don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to make it yours.
