The Attractions
In many respects, the relatively uncommon Giardiniera can be considered the best version of the iconic Fiat 500. In 1960, the range of Italy's favourite car was enriched with the introduction of a new three-door 'shooting brake' style station wagon body which, by housing the engine under the floor of the rear luggage compartment, offered a lot of extra space while remaining extremely compact. From 1967, this model was produced by Autobianchi.
We have been informed that this 1973 example has received some restoration work in recent years and has been used very rarely thereafter. As can be seen in the photographs, it still appears to be in good overall condition, with a few minor imperfections. The seller informs us that this car drives well and has MOT valid until 2027, so it is ready to be driven by its next owner.
