The Attractions
Although the quintessential Italian hatchback is the Fiat 500, Italian motorists have always shown a deep love for the British Mini, so much so that Innocenti decided to produce it under licence. Fiat wanted to ride the wave of that success, so they decided to launch their own interpretation of the Mini, the Autobianchi A112 with a front-engine, front-wheel drive and lines inspired by the small British car.
This second-series example with chrome bumpers is extremely original and in very good condition for its age. This Autobianchi has been fitted with an LPG system that allows it to run on both petrol and LPG, enabling it to circulate in restricted traffic zones and making it very economical to run.
Registered with the Automotoclub Storico Italiano and endowed with a Certificate of Historical Significance, this little A112 is a very interesting specimen that deserves all your attention.
