The Appeal

There’s a strong case to say that the Triumph Stag is all the classic car you will ever need. There’s the burbling V8, which delivers a superb soundtrack and sufficient urge to deal with modern traffic. It’s a proper four-seater too, with a decent sized boot for longer trips. And, of course, the choice of hard top motoring or full soft top sun worshipping mode.
This MkI, finished in white over black, is a reminder of another Stag plus: those svelte Michelotti Italianite lines. This is a very pretty car. It is in great condition with very good panelwork and a well-preserved interior.

The condition is a testament to its long-term keeper, a well-known Stag enthusiast. He purchased it 22 years ago, reportedly from the first owner, and has lavished it with care and attention ever since. He and the car are well known in the Stag Club of Northern Ireland.  The result of his considerable investment is a very well sorted car in great order. It benefits from desirable improvements like an uprated cooling system. The vendor reports that he drove it 200 miles recently without fault.
The condition insight and out is resplendent, with a high state of preservation for a 52-year-old car. A recent UK MOT confirms its impressively low mileage. This is a prime example of a vehicle with a passionate and dedicated following.
