The Appeal
The P6 was a very different and very modern type of Rover, but one imbued with the robust, quality feel of its forebears. When Rover added its potent V8 to the mix a proper sports saloon was born.
These cars, particularly the later improved Series 2, are perennially popular with enthusiasts because they are both usable and perfect for long distance adventures, whether solo or as part of an organised tour.
This lovely 1972 P6 3500 would do that job perfectly, helped by its relaxing automatic gearbox. Its BMIHT certificate confirms the Davos White over black leather colour combination is factory correct and it certainly presents as a highly original and well kept car.
Although MOT exempt by age it carries a current test certificate that adds reassurance for the buyer.
