Highlights
- Ex 2013 Historic Monte Carlo Rallye entrant
- Perfect for road use or amateur tours and events
- Recent MOT with no advisories valid until November 2025
- Good condition inside and out
- Smart specification with various rally features
The Appeal
The enduring appeal of Abingdon’s B lies in its sheer usability and, dare we say it, ‘improveability.’ This car proves the point perfectly. It was specially prepared for the 2013 Historic Monte Carlo Rallye where it competed with aplomb in the hands of Steve Efstathiou and navigator George Giorgiou, two stars of the historic competition scene.
The buyer therefore gets an upgraded car that works just as well as a road weapon as a competitor on amateur tours and events. The upgrades include a roll cage, Cobra buckets, rebuilt engine with Stage 2 head and a Branz retro trip meter.
The car is in very good order, looking smart on Minilite-style alloys with a quartet of high performance auxiliary lights to show the road ahead. That impression is confirmed by a long, advisory-free MOT to November 2025.
A great example of these highly usable roadsters with interesting provenance.
The vendor tells us:
“This car is ready to be driven on the road & will also turn heads at any club , show or rally. It will provide endless fun for its next owner.”
