The Appeal
We can't help but think the world of performance cars has got a bit silly. They're too big, too expensive, too heavy and frankly, too powerful to be properly enjoyed on the roads.
When push comes to shove, we're much happier with an old-school British roadster. And in our view, there's nothing more British and roadster-ey than an MGB.
This 1972 example stands out from the crowd thanks to a comprehensive restoration using a brand-new body shell. The current owner has invested significantly in maintaining and upgrading the vehicle, ensuring it remains in very good health.
It has undergone a recent 70-point health check by a classic car specialist, with all necessary remedial work carried out. It's also been submitted for MOT, passing with no advisories in April of this year.

Thanks to its new body shell, this MG looks very sharp, with arrow-straight bodywork and great panel fit
The chrome bumpers present impeccably, as do the Rostyle wheels

New black vinyl hood and half-tonneau cover - both in very smart order
It had a replacement speedo during the restoration but it wasn't zero and the car has driven less than 1,000 miles since restoration
