Vendor supplied images
Highlights
- One of just 800 examples ever built with the 1.6-litre engine
- Dry-stored and exercised regularly by its Lancia collector owner
- Beautifully presented and reportedly driving brilliantly
The Appeal
The fastest production Fulvia ever produced, the HF’s 1,584 cc engine was shoehorned into the final iteration of Ercole Spada’s Sport Zagato. Just 800 were ever built.
This 1972 example was supplied new to Italy and there it stayed until a Lancia collector imported it to the Netherlands in 2008. The car was cherished, stored carefully and exercised regularly; reportedly benefitting from excellent maintenance.
It’s highly original throughout, resplendent in its factory hue of “Rosso Salmone” set against a black leather interior. The vendor comments that the V4 engine runs beautifully, the gearbox shifts positively and exhaust note is simply wonderful.
For fans of rare Italian exotica, this delightful Fulvia is a worthy centrepiece to any collection.
