The Appeal

We have the Fulvia to thank for Lancia's illustrious rally career. Yes, the Aurelia had won some notable events in the 1950s, but it took the front-wheel-drive Fulvia’s repeated victories and conquering of the World Rally Championship to kickstart Lancia’s time as a top constructor. A narrow-angle V4 engine sat over the driven front wheels, which meant it excelled on loose surfaces. And thanks to a five-speed manual gearbox, lancia could keep the Fulvia low-geared for tight sections while ensuring it remained sufficiently long-geared for the more open straights.
Naturally, there had to be a road car too, and we’re delighted to offer this rather lovely two-keeper 1972 Series II example. Finished in its original and optional Silver paintwork over a black tex interior, it makes for a stunning specification. The car has received some light restoration work over the years which bring it up to a beautiful standard, ready to show or enjoy as its maker intended. Complete with all its original books and manuals, this really is an excellent find.
