The Appeal

Some Jaguar E-Types have been restored to ‘better than new’ condition. Some, like this car, have been sympathetically maintained and improved with the priority on preserving the lovely character of age.
A JDHT certificate confirms the provenance of this car. It was sold new in July 1972 in North America - the original bill of sale is included in the history file - and retains its stylish Sable paintwork, which was the preferred colour of Jaguar’s own Sir William Lyons. Inside you will find a very original Biscuit leather cabin.
The car retains its matching numbers specification - including relaxing automatic Borg Warner gearbox - and is in good mechanical health. It arrived in Poland in 2016 and the current keeper has thoroughly enjoyed it, clocking up 30,000kms in the intervening eight years. That regular use means the car has been properly maintained, is well sorted and reliable too.
This is a charismatic and well sorted Series III which, with its V12 motor and auto box, would make a great road trip companion.
