The Attraction
Developed by Ford specifically for Group 2 circuit racing, the RS 2600 Capri helped 26-year-old Jochen Mass win the European Touring Car Championship in 1972. Such success on the track created a strong demand for road-going versions, and the RS 2600 proved to be a very good seller.
This 1972 Capri received a new RS 2600 racing engine in 2016 and now resembles the competition cars of the early 1970s. Having undergone a complete mechanical overhaul, this is now a fully sorted example that is ready to take to the road or circuit.
