The Appeal

The Type-2 camper is amongst the most legendary vehicles in history. Whether you know it as a surf bus or as a hippy van, these bread-shaped vehicles have become synonymous with free-spirited living on the road, and today have seen an enormous resurgence for the nostalgic holidaymakers.

This 1971 example is fondly known as 'Bridget' - and she's quite the stunning van, isn't she?

This beautiful camper boasts an attractive, irresistibly retro colour scheme that runs both on her resprayed, restored panels and in the attractive, comfortable accommodation within. The engine is recently reconditioned, having only covered 5,000 miles since, and is running exactly as you'd expect.

It's an utterly superb example of the ever-popular van, and we've no doubt will garner plenty of admiration from prospective buyers.
