The Appeal

The History and Paperwork

• It is difficult to pinpoint where this car has been throughout its life due to a lack of paperwork 
• Within the small paperwork bundle, you’ll find the modern V5 
• There are also a couple of workshop/technical manuals that are present 
• Looking at the condition this car appears to have been looked after well
• It is now your turn to add to the car's history
• It will suit a professional events vehicle very well indeed, but it will be just at home in a private collection 

The Interior

• Inside this Rolls Royce is the place to be 
• Filled with lots of high-end and luxurious touches it will be a pleasure to get in 
• Upfront there are two large leather seats fitted
• The light grey leather that they are trimmed in is in lovely condition 
• There is some appropriate age-related wear, with a small tear to the driver’s seat back 
• In the rear is a large and comfortable-looking bench seat 
• Trimmed in the same colour leather it is in great condition
• You’ll also find the central armrest boosts the comfort for those longer journeys
• On the floor within the rear are two moveable footrests 
• The carpets and footrests are finished with a fetching light navy blue and are in great condition all round
• In the front part of the cabin, it looks like it has been re-carpeted with a slightly darker blue
• The main part of the cabin also has some lovely wood trim dotted around
• Found on the dashboard, centre console, and at the tops of the doors it is in lovely condition 
• On both the dashboard and centre console it is in better condition than at the tops of the doors
• All of the dials and switchgear are in lovely condition and can be easily read
• Overall, the interior of this Rolls Royce is in excellent condition 
• If you’re going to use it as part of your personal collection, then you’ll be doing it in proper luxury
• You may also want to use it to ferry around paying customers, it will perform this task effortlessly

The Exterior 

• Externally this Silver Shadow is in beautiful condition 
• Across the board, the paintwork is presented very well 
• The bright blue paint will certainly get you noticed from every angle
• It should also provide the best kind of alternative wedding car for those who want a bit more colour in their photos
• As you’d expect the car is dripping in shiny chrome trim
• Up front, there is the nice combination of the vertical grille, twin headlights, extra spotlights, and chrome bumper 
• All of these chrome elements are in great condition with no obvious signs of pitting or denting 
• At the top of the chrome grille is the Spirit of Ecstasy who will elegantly guide the way
• The chrome continues along the side of the car and to the rear bumper
• The rear bumper does appear to have some areas to keep an eye on
• Currently hidden under bits of silver tape they are hidden well, but we are unsure as to what lies beneath
• At the rear, you will find one of the more obvious areas of paint bubbling
• Isolated to around the left reversing light it should be easily rectified 
• You will also find a few car parking dings down the sides of the car, some of these have been touched in 
• Overall, the exterior of this Rolls Royce is in lovely condition

The Mechanics 

• Sitting under the large bonnet is the famous 6 ¾ litre V8 
• A nice and smooth engine it provides lots of power effortlessly
• This power is then transferred through to the automatic gearbox
• It was said that both of these major components work in true harmony 
• On the day of the photos, the car maneuvered around its yard and into place
• It selected first and reverse with no issues 
• With a lack of paperwork, it is difficult to say what kind of mechanical work has been completed 
• However, with this being said, it does appear to have been kept well over the years
• Hopefully, this should be an excellent mechanical addition to your collection
