The Attractions

The great versatility of Land Rovers is undoubtedly the clearest proof of their ruggedness and how unstoppable they are. Over the years, Land Rovers have been used for countless purposes, both civil, commercial and military, and have proved absolutely indispensable for many rural communities and for bringing assistance to hard-to-reach places.

This Land Rover Series IIA has quite a story to tell. Owned by a nunnery in Pracchia, in the province of Pistoia, it was used as an ambulance by the local Civil Defence, always kept in the garage and kept ready for emergencies. It was rediscovered in 2015 by gathering information and thanks to word of mouth in Lucca, Tuscany, where it had been abandoned in a depot; after all, its on-board medical equipment was now obsolete.

Extremely original, solid and full of character, this charming 4x4 is now ready for its next owner, who will certainly appreciate its many unique details.
