The Appeal

A totemic symbol of Italy, the Fiat 500 is nothing short of iconic. Born out of necessity, it came about when Italians were desperately in need of transport but had neither the materials nor the funds to build cars in such an elaborate way as they had pre-war. The 500 remained in production from 1957 until 1975 and its namesake lives on today in Fiat’s range as we enter the electric age.
Here we have a delightful 1971 example that was imported to the UK in 2023 following a high-quality restoration. It’s an especially attractive example thanks to its tasteful colour scheme which captures the fun spirit of these diminutive cars. Formerly part of a collection in Southern Italy, it’s had just three former keepers according to the original Italian logbook and since the completion of the restoration, the car has always been stored indoors. Don’t miss the chance to add this charming example to your garage.
