1971 Fiat 500 Jolly America (Recreation)

*Vendor supplied images and VIDEO at the bottom of the listing*

Highlights

  • Beautifully finished to what the vendor describes as equivalent to a brand new car
  • Incorporates some subtle upgrades including a neatly integrated bluetooth audio system
  • Extensively restored and converted to US ‘bug eye’ Jolly specification with upwards of 90 percent new components

The Appeal

Originally conceived as a sort of land-based tender for the rich and famous to explore the Riviera in, the Fiat 500 Jolly. Originally built by Ghia at the bequest of Fiat boss and successful industrialist Gianni Agnelli, the Jolly could easily be stowed in a large yacht, so proved the perfect beach transport for him and his fellow millionaires.
Few were built in period and many were to succumb to the saltwater environment near which they operated. So here’s your chance to experience what it was like to buy a brand new Fiat 500 Jolly in period. Recently completed by an Italian firm experienced in building Jolly replicas, this recreation emulates those built especially for the US market - thus requiring these ‘bug eye’ headlamps.

The vendor believes it to be the only recreation of this specification in existence and it’s certainly in utterly impeccable condition. We’re told that over 90 percent of its parts have been replaced, with many original Fiat components sourced and utilised. There are also a few small modifications using modern technology to make it more usable. In short, if you fancy the ultimate Fiat Jolly - you’ve come to the right place…
