The Appeal
The Glassic, later known as the Replicar was produced to meet growing demand in the 1960s and ‘70s for replicas of prewar cars which featured modern improvements. These cars were built to be easier to drive than the early Fords they emulated, being fitted with more modern V8 engines and automatic transmissions.
The car offered for sale here is presented in a fetching shade of bright yellow over black and features period details such as the 32 Ford style radiator cowl, sweeping running boards and rear-mounted luggage trunk. For a 50+ year old car, the vehicle presents well with only the expected signs of age-related wear and tear.
Beautifully clean and tidy throughout, this Glassic is a gleaming example of the model, which has clearly been well cared for. The interior is finished in fluted black upholstery and the engine bay is very clean. It will make a great car to use and enjoy.
