The Appeal
Originally released in 1958, the NSU Prinz was a compact little car that in many ways hit the mid-20th-century zeitgeist perfectly. Sat alongside contemporaries like the Mini and the Fiat 500, it was equally capable - if a little noisier thanks to its motorcycle-derived engine - very nicely styled in an attractive straight-statured profile.
The car arguably met its finest onus with the 1200 TT, which boasted the car's biggest powerplant and kept NSU's little monarch pretty well-set against the competition, and, like its classmates from other manufacturers, made an excellent candidate for rallys and races.
This particular model has done exactly that, with multiple classic car events and hill climbs offering top-notch view of its performance capabilities. Carefully restored and maintained, with a striking red and black exterior, this is a superb opportunity to take on a rare West German classic.
