The History and Paperwork

 • Extensive engine rebuild including big end bearing and valve guides and seals
 • Brightwork rechromed where required
 • New seat covers
 • New carpets
 • Wheels refurbished including new tyres
 • MOT exempt
 • Extensive invoices for the above parts

The Interior

 • New seat covers
 • New Carpets
 • Excellent condition throughout
 • One small tear in headlining but otherwise good
 • Inertia reel seatbelts fitted
With soft comfy seats that few modern cars can rival, the interior of a Morris minor will bring back fond memories for generations of people who grew up with these iconic cars. Sitting behind the wheel of this Minor the leisurely acceleration and smooth ride will put a smile on anyone as you cruise gently down sunny B-roads.

The Exterior

 • Body stripped to a shell and resprayed
 • Excellent brightwork - some rechromed
 • Finished in Old English White
The shape of a Morris Minor is one of those that are instantly recognisable and evoke memories of lazy Sunday afternoons spent in the sun. The Old English White paint is in fantastic condition and combined with the excellent brightwork this car looks gorgeous. All of the wheels are in similarly excellent condition having been refurbished as part of the restoration by the current owner.

The Mechanics

 • Extensive engine rebuild
 • New valve guides and seals
 • New big end bearings
 • Good clean condition from engine bay to underneath
 • The owner reports that it has a good solid chassis thanks to welding carried out during and prior to the refurbishment to the floor pans and inner arches
 • Occasionally pops out of second gear during deceleration
 • Evidence of patches of welding from the previous owners ownership
This Minor starts well, runs smoothly and sounds great. As we would expect with such a comprehensive restoration the car appears mechanically sound and everything including the engine bay and underside are clean and tidy. Before the current owner acquired the car it had been kept in a barn for around 15-20 years so has benefitted from being stored dry prior to the restoration. The owner reports that the car drives as it should, pulling as well as a Minor can, providing the relaxed classic car driving experience that these cars are so good at.

Summary

Benefitting from an extensive restoration covering everything from bodywork welding, through to a full respray and engine rebuild this Minor will make an excellent easy going classic. Ready to drive and enjoy the vendor is selling it to fund the next restoration project.
