Highlights
- Smart and very usable B roadster
- Fitted with desirable factory overdrive
- Good history file including BMIHT heritage certificate
- Sparing but regular use in recent years
The Appeal
Key to the MGB’s appeal is that it is much more than a car. This perennial of the classic car scene is a social life on four wheels, one that brings people together wherever they gather and go.
Its popularity also makes it very easy to own with superb parts supply, all of it accessibly priced, and a vibrant supplier scene. None of which should let us forget the car’s fundamentals too – it is stylish, engaging and fun to drive and comfortable too.
This 1970 model leans into that theme with its usability – this is a B designed to be used. Sparingly used in recent years it is solid and presentable. There is scope to cosmetically improve, but perhaps that can wait – the first thing to do is surely jump in and enjoy it.
