The Appeal
If your preference in classics is for very usable and reliable with a healthy dose of practicality and stylish thrown in, then you would be hard pressed not to end up buying a MGB GT. Nothing else quite does what Abingdon’s mini E-Type delivers.
And here is the proof in the form of a very appealing Damask Red 1970 B. As an early car it retains the classic features like the dashboard ignition, earlier badging and chrome grille. It was restored in the early 1990s but has clearly been very carefully curated ever since because the condition today is impressive. A thick history file reinforces the impression of an enthusiast-owned car.
The current keeper acquired the car last year intending to use and enjoy it, but has reluctantly decided that he doesn’t have the time to do the car justice and it now deserves someone who does.
The car is reported to be in very good mechanical order and therefore ready to drive away and enjoy.
