Highlights
- Complete car in silver metallic with blue interior
- Enthusiast-owned car with just six registered keepers
- Desirable 2.5L straight six model with auto box
- Scope to improve or good basis for parts
The Appeal
It was typical of Mercedes-Benz that the firm could spin a sleek, pillarless coupe out of the boxy and functional W114 saloon. These elegant, expensive four seat cars are rare finds today, yet practical ones if you need a classic with passenger and boot space.
This enthusiast-owned car has been well known in Club circles, although it could do with a little TLC from the right buyer now. Finished in silver with a dark blue interior, it is complete and is therefore a good basis for restoration because interior parts are becoming scarce.
The car could also be used as a basis for spares, but with W114 coupes becoming thin on the ground and this car evidently having led a loved life, we hope it receives the attention it deserves.
