Highlights
- Sympathetically restored to a great standard several years ago
- Used sparingly since restoration in fair weather around the Tuscan countryside
- Beautifully presented inside and out
The Appeal
Germany had the Beetle, France its 2CV, Great Britain its Mini and Italy, the Fiat 500. These “cars of the people” are amongst the most culturally significant of the twentieth century. The latter was amongst the most successful cars of all time and remains a popular classic to this day.
This 1970 500 has undergone a sympathetic restoration and remains in very good condition. The vendor assures us that it remains entirely free from corrosion and drives very well indeed. Since its restoration several years ago, we’re informed that it has been used sparingly for drives around Tuscany’s vineyards and farms on sunny days.
