The Appeal

There's a very real fascination with the humble camper in the UK. The Volkswagen bus is amongst the most iconic, globally successful vans ever built, and to this day it's practically synonymous with the free-spirited, free-living nomadic lifestyle. It's a combination of easy living space, simple mechanics and loveable aesthetics - something very easy to slot into the camper lifestyle.

This particular 1969 is a rare, 15-window split-screen example, complete with wide-opening barn doors. Still a left-hand drive example, and carrying a Brazilian rear plate, it's a fantastic base for modification or external restoration, and features a newly fitted interior.
