1969 Triumph Trophy 250 TR25W

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Attractive classic scrambler
  • Extensively restored
  • Sandblasted and powder-coated frame

THE APPEAL

Before cross-continent adventure bikes were a thing if you wanted a road bike that could handle itself in the dirt if need be, a Street Scrambler was the solution. Triumph's option, labelled the TR25W shared BSA’s Starfire platform, utilising their 247cc Air-cooled four-stroke engine and running gear.
In production from 1968-1970, the Trophy 250 T25W is an uncommon bike, certainly in as exemplary restored condition as this 1969 example.
Purchased in 2020 by the current vendor, this Trophy has been subject to extensive restoration including frame sandblasting and powder coating, resprayed tank and fenders plus an engine rebuild including numerous new components. Yet to be ridden adequately since completing this classic scrambler is offered for sale for another enthusiast to enjoy and cherish.
