The Appeal

Dropping the 3litre engine from the Austin Healey 3000 into the MG GT bodyshell was an inspired idea. Alongside some suspension tweaks it created the long-legged, mini-E-Type GT that the hard top B was always meant to be.
For all those reasons, modern enthusiasts are returning to these rare and capable sports cars. The 50% extra power over the standard B means that the C is much more than a different letter from the alphabet - it is a great car for classic touring and events, helped by that capacious load area.
This pretty Primrose Yellow ‘69 GT would work very well in just that kind of role. It is pleasingly factory original and has been maintained by its current long term keeper since 1996. It presents very well as a tidy, highly usable and solid C.
