The Appeal
An MGB with four seats and a drop top? It might sound like fantasy, but it's very real: introducing the Lenham MGB. This is a truly rare groove - perhaps as rare as it comes for an MG car. Converted in 1969 by request of Peter Rix, the Lenham Motor Company's director, this unusual twist on the traditional roadster retains the GT's taller windscreen and has a little more legroom, resulting in an altogether more comfortable drive, even in its adapted form.
This 1969 MGB Roadster Coupe is presented in a striking metallic blue livery, with a colour-coordinated soft top and a fine, black leather interior. If the unusual conversion isn't enough to get your attention, we're sure its fine condition and provenance absolutely will.
With only 17 ever made, and potentially less than a handful remaining, an opportunity like this truly doesn’t come up very often. Only a little bit of work would be necessary to bring this car up to Concours condition, and it'll no doubt turn heads when parked amongst its more standard brethren at your local car show.
