The Attractions
Created to circumvent the heavy taxation on imported vehicles in Italy at the time, the Minis produced by Innocenti were more carefully finished and better built than those assembled at Longbridge, and are usually considered among the best Minis to have, if you have the chance. Consequently, therefore, the Innocenti Traveller is one of the most coveted models by enthusiasts.
Elegant, atmospheric and very practical, the Traveller version of the Mini has always been particularly popular, and the one produced by Innocenti is finished with much more care in every respect. This 1969 example appears to be in very good shape, equipped with a replacement 1.3-litre engine and gearbox and the disc brakes with power brakes of the Mini Cooper. Despite these modifications, however, it has lost none of its iconic appeal and charm, and the dark amaranth colour scheme makes it look particularly elegant.
This gorgeous classic is truly seductive, and we're sure it won't fail to attract all the attention it deserves.
