The Appeal
The Fiat 500 is without doubt one of the most important cars ever made. Cheap to buy, simple to maintain and small enough to navigate even the narrowest of streets, this frugal little machine helped wart-torn Italy back onto its own two feet. To this day, there’s a place for the humble 500 and Fiat still builds one.
Here we have a delightful 1969 example which remains in commendably original condition. Imported to the UK in 2009, it’s since had a great deal of time and money spent on improvements, amassing numerous invoices during the intervening years. For those seeking an authentic example that looks and feels much like it did in 1969, this 500L would be the perfect choice.
