Highlights
- Beautiful Snowberry White paint with black roof
- 998cc A series engine
- Ruggedly simple early Mini design
The Appeal
1967 saw the introduction of the Mk II Mini, which featured a larger rear window than earlier cars as well as a redesigned front grille. It retained many other features such as exposed door hinges and large storage bins in the doors.
This particular Mini was restored some ten years ago and repainted in its original Snowberry White. This paint remains in great condition and we particularly like the contrasting black roof.
Inside, the car’s upholstery is very tidy and the interior in general is a very pleasant place to be. This is the kind of car you’d be wanting to drive to the shops whenever possible.
There aren’t many cars which are the subject of almost universal adoration, but the Mini certainly is one of them. And we think this Cooper is a very fine yet useable example.

Summary
This Mini has evidently been well looked after since its restoration around a decade ago. It remains in a very good state inside and out and the owner tells us that it drives just as well.
‘60s Minis remain very desirable and we think this here is a great example of one. The white paintwork and black roof work well and if features a very capable 998cc A series engine, a dependable unit which is almost infinitely reparable.
