The Appeal
One of the most evolved of MG's range of top-notch top-down sports cars, the MGC was only on the market for 2 years - which in retrospect, feels rather like a crime. With a huge engine upgrade from a 1.8L B-Series to the new 2.9L C-Series engine, it was an evolution of the MGB before it - but in terms of performance, it felt more like a revolution.
The MGC has come a rare, desirable classic - and this 1968 example is particularly fine, having been stored in dry conditions as part of a private collection for many years. It's recent been brought back to the world with a programme of mechanical work, and now offers a charming 50-year-patina with a solid chassis that's ready for the road.
