The Appeal
Lotus produced the two seater Elan to an audience that perceived it as the perfect sports car, in a bid to bring in a wider audience in 1967 they introduced the +2 version, a sports coupe that could accommodate for people.
Only a few thousand were built over an eight year period, it had the same dynamic driving style with that punch 1600cc engine that produced 118bhp in a fibre glass body. This particular example has had a complete restoration throughout, including an overhaul of the mechanics as well.
