The Appeal
Stemming from the gloriously whimsical 60s, the 'Jolly' finds origins in a development of the Fiat 500 by Carrozzeria Ghia. It was practically built as a beach buggy, with an open-air, doorless iteration of the lightweight car - characterised with a fabric awning and wicker seats that really upped that Italian Riviera feel.
Of course, the Fiat 500 was built in such enormous numbers that it's a prime candidate for conversions into all manner of forms - and that includes the 'Jolly'. This example was originally built in 1968, and was treated to a full restoration and conversion by the owner's company, which specialises in exactly that.

Picked out in Fiat's original Azzurro Acquamarina colour scheme, the car's conversion included a full rebuild, removal of corrosion, application of an epoxy primer and - of course - the build into its Jolly form. Factor in its rebuilt engine, gearbox, suspension, and steering, as well as new electrical installations and lighting, and this Jolly is a fine prospect.
