The Appeal
Following Jaguar's purchase of the company, auto enthusiasts were clamouring for a replacement for the venerable Daimler. The resulting car - taking visual cues from the Jaguar Mk II, the Daimler 2.5 V8 was a remarkably smooth merging of Jaguar’s sleek existing platform, with Daimler’s highly praised Turner 2.5L V8 drivetrain. The result was an improvement on both vehicles that came before it.
This particular example stands out with its low mileage of just 30,220 miles and its history with the original owners. The car features stainless steel bolt-on wire wheels, a hi-torque starter motor conversion, upgraded power steering, and Combs-style rear wheel arch spats.
It's a lovely example, and we've no doubt it'll attract plenty of attention.
