The Appeal
The Mercedes Benz 280SE, designed by Paul Bracq, is part of the W108 series that set a new standard for mass-produced luxury saloons when it was introduced in 1965. Thoughtfully designed, with a luxurious cabin, these cars were an enormous success, with an excellent I6 powerplant and a reputation for top-notch build quality.
This particular example, built in East London, is a rare find with its floor shift manual and unique red leather seats. Its excellent condition and smooth running, along with a good amount of service history and a service book, add to its appeal for collectors and enthusiasts.
All in all, this beautifully-kept saloon is likely to impress any enthusiast.
