The Appeal

The Mustang name lives on today as an all-electric SUV, but we're here to talk about those... No, it's the snarling V8 variety that piques our interest, especially this striking and beautifully restored example of the legendary 'Notchback' coupé from 1967.

The chassis number reveals this to be a 'T Code' model, so it would originally have been offered with a 3.3-litre straight-six. However, this car has effectively been upgraded to 'C Code' mechanical spec thanks to the fitment of a 4.7-litre (289 cu in) V8 and front disc brakes - a factory option is the day.

As the photographs show, this Mustang has been restored to a very high standard; no fibreglass, all steel. Thanks to an oil and filter service in 2024, it's ready to enjoy and there's no MOT to pass or road tax to pay.

The vendor remarks:

"Very good to drive, very responsive on the accelerator and upgraded disk brakes have helped a lot."
