At first glance, you'd be forgiven for thinking the TR4A was simply the same car as the TR4 - but underneath that familiar bodywork was an eminently more confident, determined little sports car with fully independent rear suspension, composed of semi-trailing arms and coil springs. Adapting those features of the Triumph 2000 really reinvigorated the TR4A's character - and it proved to be a rousing success.
This 1966 example is an authentic UK market car, with its original right-hand drive set-up and the car's practically synonymous Signal Red livery proudly on display, complemented by a black mohair hood. Since it was first delivered to Bethesda in March 1966, the car has been very well cared for and now comes to us in superb order - ready and waiting to be driven away.
