The most
As the 1960s approached, Porsche was enthusiastically preparing to retire the 356 in favour of the modern, fast and comfortable 911. History was in the making in Stuttgart - it was the start of something big. However, one problem remained: the 911 was considerably more expensive than the 356, which raised concerns about the brand's affordability for its customers.
The solution? The Porsche 912. A more affordable, lightweight version of the new range, equipped with a slightly deflated flat-four derived from the 356. This agile, efficient model quickly made a name for itself, winning over both the general public and motorsport enthusiasts. With more than 32,000 units produced, the 912 even surpassed the 911 in sales on its debut, consolidating Porsche's confidence in its market.
This 1966 model is in remarkable condition, having benefited from a thorough mechanical overhaul and regular maintenance. Sporting a rare green hue, the car appears to have covered very few kilometres over the years and is accompanied by an impressive file of invoices totalling over €12,000.
It is rare to see a 912 on the market with this level of authenticity, and we are confident that it will attract many admirers at the auction.image.png2.63 MB

The elegant lines of the 912 are virtually identical to those of the 911 - a timeless silhouette that continues to inspire car designers the world over. And in this green livery? It's a real rarity. This model is simply stunning, with its distinctive hue set off by magnificent chrome elements.
Since its restoration, the car has developed a subtle patina - a few light marks in the paintwork - but nothing to detract from its beauty. The steel wheel trims blend in perfectly, and the underbody remains solid, with only a few traces of light wear. A superb example, in every respect.
Original black interior, with the exception of the front seat covers
Upholstery with no rips or tears
Clean interior in good condition
Dashboard slightly damaged when the windscreen housing was rebuilt, but still original
Green gauge dials in excellent condition
Very slight wear to door handles
Inside, the same consistency is evident. An original black interior awaits you, with its famous green gauges and a sleek, elegant and well-preserved dashboard. The overall impression is one of timeless comfort and driving pleasure.
Overall condition is excellent: the front seats have been redone and a few seals replaced, but otherwise the interior faithfully reflects that of a 912 that left the factory in the 1960s. Everything works perfectly, and the iconic green instruments are still in good working order.image.png2.79 MB
