Highlights
- Only two owners from new
- Low mileage, less than 18,000 miles
- Excellent woodwork and paint
The Appeal
Famous for being the first British car to sell over one million units, the Morris Minor was a runaway success that was produced from 1948 to 1971, with the ever-popular Traveller half-timbered estate model being one of the last to be discontinued.
This particular Traveller has a longstanding connection with the vendor. We are informed that the vendor, a dealer, sold the car to its first owner when new.
Then they later purchased it back and became its second custodian. It has remained in the vendor’s care ever since, and they have been involved in its maintenance ever since.
Then they later purchased it back and became its second custodian. It has remained in the vendor’s care ever since, and they have been involved in its maintenance ever since.
So this is a low mileage, low ownership Morris Minor Traveller, which makes it a very desirable vehicle, especially as it is still largely unchanged from its original specification.

Summary
This is a very well presented example of a Traveller, with its paintwork and timber in good condition.
The low mileage and ownership is remarkable for a car of this age and it’s great to see an example which is in such original condition.
The low mileage and ownership is remarkable for a car of this age and it’s great to see an example which is in such original condition.
The Traveller remains a popular classic: it is practical, unusual and good looking. And the easy maintenance, excellent parts availability and huge luggage space make it a very sensible everyday classic.
