The Appeal
You may need to take a moment to drink this remarkable scooter in. Known as ‘Brown Sugar’ for obvious reasons, it is one of the limited edition custom scooters showcased at the prestigious Forest of Dean Vintage Metals showroom.
Based on the high-performance SX200, it is as much a static design piece as a usable road scooter. The effect is achieved by some clever detailing - the gold trim is all plated in 24ct gold and the VW Caspian Brown paint is a metal flake finish containing five different golds.
It is no surprise that Brown Sugar received the Speaker’s Award at Scooter Expo 2023, specially chosen by scooter royalty, Mike Hayman.
The SX200 is one of Lambretta’s most coveted models. This one is unique and will look incredible in your collection, out on the road or at a show.
