The Appeal
In many ways, the Jaguar S-Type offers the ultimate package in luxury, comfort and performance.
William Lyons cleverly created a new model that retained all the style of the Mk2 with improved handling courtesy of the independent rear suspension borrowed from the MkX and E-type. The power being provided by the silky-smooth XK straight-six.
This seductive S-type looks gorgeous in Old English White and is generally in good condition. It has been extensively improved over the last three years with a body restoration, interior make-over and mechanical improvements to make it a reliable grand tourer.
Featuring the 3.4-litre XK engine, 9,928 were built at the Browns Lane factory. This one has covered very limited miles in recent years and is performing well with the addition of 420 S.U. carburettors and diligent servicing.
