The Appeal
Jaguar’s gorgeous Mk2 is a car of two characters. There is the sports car-bothering range of MOD models. Alternatively, equipped with an automatic gearbox and power steering, it is a relaxing, effortlessly quick four seater that is perfect for classic car weekend jaunts.
This well kept example is firmly in the latter camp. An older restoration that has been extensively fettled across the interior, chromework and mechanicals during 2019 and 2020 – including over £19,000 invested to perfect the mechanicals at specialist Southern Classics – it is in great shape. A long, advisory-free MOT to November 2024 confirms that fact, as do the photographs.
Well specified for classic motoring and in lovely order, this beautiful car looks ready to enjoy. And we are told that it drives very well indeed.
