The Appeal
Any '60s Mod would give their right arm, Parker jacket and latest 'Who' LP for this.
The Lambretta Li150 was very much the scooter to be seen out and about on in period. With more power than just about all of its contemporaries and beautiful styling, it was coveted by Mods (and most likely the odd Rocker too...)
Restored in 2012 to a high standard, this matching numbers 1966 boasts excellent provenance, having remained in the ownership of its original keeper until their death in 2012. That's when the vendor bought it and treated it to the restoration it deserved, retaining all original panels and refinishing them in their factory colours.
The engine has been upgraded to a 180 cc capacity, providing yet more power while maintaining the charm of the original model. The engine, gearbox and cluthc have been rebuilt and a 12-volt conversion has been carried out to aid first-time starting. The scooter has only covered 330 miles since, so remains fresh from the substantial rebuild.
