1966 Ford Mustang V8

Highlights

  • Factory V8 automatic from 1966
  • Finished in Raven Black with a black pony interior
  • GT-spec 5 dial dash with Shelby-style wood steering wheel
  • Original floor pans with no welding
  • Upgraded to A-code specification with a 4-barrel 600 CFM carburettor

The Appeal

If there's any American classic that summates the golden age of the 60s, the Mustang is exactly it. This was the first and final word in Pony cars, with a swathe of impressive engine options, impressive styling and surprisingly comfortable cabins - all in an aggressive, capable muscle car that resonated with just about every American motorist out there.

This first-gen example was originally built with one of the 200hp 'C-Code' cars and has since been upgraded to 225hp 'A-Code' specification with a 4-barrel 600 CFM carburettor. As if that performance prospect wasn't exciting enough, it's a real looker, in a desirable black-on-black specification and plenty of paperwork.

If you're after a Mustang, this is a great opportunity. Don't let it pass you by!
