THE APPEAL
The current vendor promised himself a green Austin A35 for years and the opportunity came up to buy this vehicle early last year.
It was in usable condition and roadworthy when purchased, but there was room for improvement. The vendor wasted no time getting work done using a team of experienced mechanics and a trusted local body shop.
We were told this was a ‘spare no expense’ refurbishment consisting of a comprehensive respray. This did reluctantly cover up the hand painted livery (Ward Antique fireplaces) but the vendor and body shop felt this was necessary to give an all-round matching finish.
These vans were introduced to the market in 1956, replacing the highly successful Austin A30. They were widely used and reliable vehicles for a long period of time and proved to be extremely robust and economical.
The current vendor informs us that the car runs beautifully and starts first time, every time.

SUMMARY
Since owning the Austin A35 van, the vendor and his team have inspected every aspect of the car to ensure everything is ready for the next owner.
There could be a few cosmetic improvements to be made underneath to really bring this car into its own, or it can be used and enjoyed straight away.
This A35 would make an excellent advertising platform for a business. The side panels are just waiting to be painted up with a company logo.
The car is driven daily (weather permitting) and it often makes the 15 mile round trip to the city where the vendor arrives in style at a hotel for his lunch.
