The Appeal

'Restomoded' 105 Series Alfa Romeos are very much in vogue right now, with the likes of Alfaholics building exquisite bespoke creations for the select few that can afford the six-figure asking prices. This has inspired a whole host of other specialists to start modifying these fabulous little cars and here we have a lovely 'step-nose' Giulia Sprint GT that's been extensively modified under the skin to maximise performance and handling capabilities.

This Alfa Romeo GTA recreation has been meticulously restored over a period of 5 years, with every detail attended to with immense care. The vehicle is powered by a modified Alfa Romeo 75 Twin-Spark engine, fed by Dellorto 40 carburettors, providing an authentic 1960s feel. The paintwork was carried out by Bassie Theron, a renowned Alfa Romeo restorer in Johannesburg, while the interior features the original Guilia Sprint GT upholstery with Period correct original Alfa bucket seats. There are a great many other nice touches, like the minimalist GTA-style door handles, Alfaholics lightweight alloy wheels and alcantara trim, to really make this car look and feels special.

It certainly sounds good on paper and the vendor ensures is that it doesn't disappoint when it comes to the driving either. We're assured that it's in fine health and ready to enjoy.
