The Appeal
Powerful in both styling and performance, the C-V8 was practically guaranteed for its own, unique brand of frame. Owned by the likes of Sean Connery and Dave Hill from Slade (how festively fitting!), the muscular GT was one of the fastest production four-seaters of its era. It was remarkably well equipped and, depending on who you asked, veered into the gloriously gaudy.
Sixty years later, it's hard to deny there's a real magic to the Chrysler-powered cars that nothing else seemed to quite echo. No wonder the celebs were so eager to get behind the wheel.
This example comes to us following an extensive chassis restoration and a full bodywork rebuild, consisting largely of brand new panels to the original specification. The car is reportedly in fine working order, and only requires the restoration work to be completed. Once that's done? You've got a beautiful classic on your hands.
Don't miss out on the chance to make your mark on this fabulous Grand Tourer!
