The Appeal
Some cars were built to be bettered. Good as the original Mustang was, it was always about how buyers could personalise and improve it. That’s why Ford offered so many options and endless ways to add more power.
This early ‘65 notchback coupe typifies that trend. The original buyer optioned it up with the desirable C-Code 289CI 4.7L 200bhp V8. It has subsequently been sympathetically restored, the stylish gunmetal grey metallic over burgundy colour scheme accentuated by some tasteful details.
The result is a very attractive early Mustang in very good condition. Recent servicing and maintenance - totalling over £5,000 - means that it arrives with the buyer in very good order. A great example of an iconic car in the right specification - happy bidding!
