The Plus
Is there a more elegant and stylish roadster? Mercedes-Benz may be a strong contender with the W113 'Pagoda' SL, but we're betting the Giulietta Spider Tipo 101 could well outdo the SL.
This 1965 example left the factory shortly before the introduction of the elegant 105 'Duetto' and boasts the sought-after 1.6-litre 'Veloce' specification. This means that it is the more powerful version of Giuseppe Busso's superb twin-shaft alloy engine, fed by twin carburettors.
Offered in excellent condition and accompanied by an extensive collection of documents, this little touch of 'La Dolce Vita' is capable of making a magnificent addition to any collection.

The paintwork is in very good condition, with minimal signs of wear, and apart from a few small areas of pitting, the chrome is in good condition. The photos show no signs of serious corrosion, and the bodywork appears straight and solid. The folding soft top and tonneau cover appear to be recent items and fit the car perfectly. The four steel wheels, with wheel covers, are also very well presented.
Inside, the cabin looks very close to its original condition, with the exception of the added floor mats and the newer stereo system. There is minimal wear to the upholstery, and the cab's controls and electrical equipment appear to be in good working order.
